    20 Plugins are fine.I’m using around 20-25 plugins on my high traffic blogs & loading their loading time are under 3secs.
    Since I mentioned only 12 plugins therefore you don’t need to worry.

    Yes, Using large number of plugins definitely affect loading time of blog because they use for resources of your CPU. However, if your blog is hosted on a good hosting, then 20-25 plugins is not a big issue.
