Content marketing is the next big thing although it is already however in coming months it will be more dominating in the internet marketing.
Those days had gone when bloggers used to rank at the first page of Google with the Thin contents, i.e., low-quality contents.
Content Marketing is growing so fast, that 77% of companies increased their content production in 2015.
Content marketing involves the creation of a good content & then, promotion of that content. So, I’ll be talking about it over here in this part.
a) How & What kind of Contents You Should Craft?
You can write on anything but, if no-one is looking for that stuff then, it won’t make any difference, literally.
You’ve to analyze your niche and audience for the better organic traffic. Before, you start your content you should know the potential of your keyword.
If you’re writing for the keyword that gets 50 searches a month then, it will not make any difference. You need to write for keywords that get at least 500 to 1000 page views a month.
So, how to know the potential of your keyword?
Few established tools do an excellent job of keyword research. One of them is Google Keyword Planner.
But, you need a query or topic for that &, for this, you can follow this simple strategy.
Head over to Quora (A question answer site) and plug-in the main keywords (should be relevant to your blog topic)
You’ll find some quick questions that people want to get answered. Your main keyword can differ from the question title but, it is not the case. Look at the question archived when I searched for blogging tips.
Now, paste this question simply in the keyword planner & you’ll get results. You can modify the question for the better analysis. Here I got the keywords for the content.
These keywords got the pretty good searches & If I squeeze the primary & secondary keywords in the article then I’ll have a content that gets pretty decent monthly searches.
A compelling title will do rest of the job. And with proper keyword optimization, you’ll be ranking for the primary keyword as well Secondary keywords. Titles that Can be used are:

Writing an article that Google loves is sometimes not easy. But, with the time, you can master this art.
Here are few points you should consider for writing quality articles:
1. Catchy Headline.
2. In-depth Article.
So, let’s start with catchy headlines
Headlines play a crucial role because it increases the CTR of a blog.
On the average, five times as many people read the headline as read the body copy. When you have written your headline, you have spent eighty cents out of your dollar.
So, what is the formula to write a catchy headline that catches the people attention?
The answer could be tricky but, here are few proven tricks based on proper analysis that will help you to write a catchy headline.
1. Use Numbers- According to the research conducted, headlines with a number (odd-number) generate 36% more clicks than the articles that don’t have numbers in the headlines. Hence, increase in blog traffic.
Example: When, I conducted research for query ‘new blog traffic’ I noticed that top 5 articles that were ranking on the first page of Google contained the number in the headlines.
Here is the screenshot below;

Writing long content is the fashion that Google loves. The longer you write, the better results you get from Google i.e., increase in blog traffic.
If you’re following Neil Patel then, you might know that how in-depth his articles are. Moreover, Neil has explained again & again why he post such articles. And why you should follow the same strategy as well.
Darren from Problogger believes that one long-form article is better than a series of short posts. In fact, the list of blogs that believe in long-form content is huge – Tim Ferriss,WordStream, MarketingProfs, Scripted, QuickSprout, WaitButWhy and many more.
Moreover, Jonah Berger and Katherine L. MiLKMan also discovered that long articles are 76 % more likely to go viral.
Not only that, the research conducted by SerpIQ has revealed that the longer articles (above 2000 words) rank well on Google as compared to tiny ones.
2. How Often Should You Update Your Blog?
Here is the big deal…. yeah, it is.
Consistency does matter in the internet marketing. Most of the bloggers, actually fails to be consistent. Because, writing quality articles does need time & if you’re a part-time blogger then, it becomes troublesome, Am I right?
So, how often should you post?
Well, the answer could be tricky. But, updating your blog once in a week is an excellent strategy. It keeps your blog active. It keeps your blog readers for the longer time & moreover you ensure your place in Google for a long time.

So, the conclusion is that you should update your blog at least once a week to increase blog traffic. It will turn the things around in your favor when you will be regular with your quality article.
Google & loyal readers just love it. So, keep updating the blog to get more blog traffic.

Publishing quality articles ensure that you’re in the race that will make you a successful blogger. But, it doesn’t assure the quick success.
Acc. to MarketingProfs, 2 Million Blog posts is written every day & you’re among them. Therefore, after publishing the content, your content gets lost in the sea of 2 million posts.
Nobody comes across your articles be it a bad one or quality one. Because, Google is not going to rank you just right after hitting up the publishing button.
It’ll take you nowhere. To stand-up among those blog posts, you need to promote your contents. You need to shout-up so that people can listen to you.
Therefore, the second step that becomes crucial after publishing a blog post is ‘Content-Promotion’.
So, what you need to do?
Basically, you need to join some platforms that get traffic, I mean huge traffic.

Broken Backlinking is another good way to build backlinks that too from high authority sites. Therefore, this method is very famous. One backlink from the authority site can wonder your website’s SEO & You will notice the exciting changes in your blog traffic.
So, what basically it is?
Broken link building is a link building tactic where a marketer/blogger contacts a webmaster who has a broken link on his/her website and suggests one or more alternatives that carry his/her target site.
Now, to use this tactic you’ve to find relevant sites to your niche that you can easily. Else you can find relevant sites with these footprints.

The next step in the broken link building process is creating content that matches or improves upon the broken page. After creating the article just send a message to the website owner/team.
Pitch them a well looking & professional mail. Here is the formula I, myself use. suggested by Brian Dean.

Here’s a few of them:
Oh, and I have a website, mysite.com, that also regularly posts quality content related to whatever. If you think so too, feel free to post a link to it on your resources page.
